This shower was installed with a specialty handle and beveled mirror. The photo is actually a picture of the mirror with the reflection of the mirror in the background.

How long does it take to get a shower enclosure installed?
It should take about two weeks from the time that your shower is measured to the time that your shower enclosure is installed.
How should I design the enclosure?
Please keep in mind that we are basically capable of doing anything that you want. One of the most important considerations that you'll make is where to put the door. You want to put the door somewhere where it will not swing into anything such as a toilet or another door. The second consideration that you should make is how you are going to turn the shower on, will you be blasted with cold water?
What kind of glass can I use?
Frameless shower enclosures are all made of tempered glass, and all are at least 3/8" thick. Obscure, or pattern glass, also tempered, can also be used if you would like to establish a more private feeling.
What is tempered glass, is it safe?
Glass for shower enclosures is tempered after it is cut to size. The tempering process involves heating the sheet of glass to a high temperature, before cooling it at a controlled rate. This process causes the skin of the glass to shrink slightly. When the glass is broken, the stretched out skin contracts, ripping the sheet of glass into very small pieces. Tempered glass is more safe than other types of glass because it does not break into shards. Additionally, tempered glass is about four times as hard to break as plate glass.
Can I put the enclosure on a bath tub?
You can put enclosures just about anywhere. The main thing to keep in mind is that glass is heavy and whatever you are mounting it to needs to be strong enough to bear the weight. Plastic shower pans do not make a good base.
How big should my door be?
If there are no space constraints on the door, I recommend making the door at least 24".
Does the door have to swing out?
Every shower door has to swing out. Frameless heavy glass shower doors have double acting hinges, so they can swing both ways. Building codes dictate this in case scalding water comes from the shower head. If this were to cause a panic pushing the door out would be the natural first response.
How tall can I make the enclosure?
We can make it just about as tall as you'd like. If you are thinking about going to the ceiling, you will likely want to put a steam door into the enclosure. Also, consult an electrician to see if your in-shower light fixture can handle very high humidity.
Will it be water tight?
99.9%. Frameless shower enclosures leak less water that you will get on the floor when you get out, but generally they are not totally 100% water tight. The Most important determinant is actually the slope of the tile underneath the enclosure, of course it should slope into the shower.
How much do frameless enclosures cost?
There are many variations of the same theme, depends on glass square footage and hardware selection, but to help you to estimate, consider the following:
2 piece in-line from $1100
3 piece with 90 degree return from $1400
3 Piece neo-angle from $1550
We hope to give you an idea of what to expect, these are the most common configurations. Unfortunately, every frameless shower enclosure is custom. We will be cutting the glass into any shape that parallels your tile. The other thing to be aware of is that there are a number of different options which can increase the cost. The most significant factors include the hardware selected for use, special coatings on the glass to help keep water spots at a minimum, the type of glass used, and the actual square footage of glass
How long do frameless shower enclosures last?
Because glass doesn't wear out like most other building products, chances are very good that your enclosure will be at your house long after you are gone.
“Thanks Shaun, we love our new shower. Cleaning is so much easier! I still can’t believe that it looks so nice, pictures really don’t do justice!”
